MembershipWith over 300 members, the Kihei Canoe Club
is one of the largest in Maui. Annual membership in the Kihei Canoe Club is
open to any residents or visitors without regard to race, color, religion, sex,
national origin, marital status, age, or handicap, interested in reviving,
developing and perpetuating Hawaiian Culture and traditions through
instruction, competition, and training.
Total payment of annual dues is
made to the Treasurer of the Club. The membership year is from January 1 to
December 31. Annual dues must be paid in order to be a member with full
privileges to participate in all club programs, including recreational and race
paddling, cultural activities and more. |

Members of the
Kihei Canoe Club may not hold membership in any other Hawaiian Canoe Racing
Association (HCRA) club.
Membership dues are as follows:
- Individual Adult (18 and older) Membership for full
calendar year -
- Between Jan 1st - June 30th. . . . $150
- Between July 1st - Sept 30th. . . . $100
- Between Oct 1st - Dec 31st. . . . .
$75
December membership can be waived if registration is complete for the
next year and $150 dues are paid in full.
- Ohana Membership - $175/ohana (one or more parents and
their children under 18)
- Keiki - $30/child less than 18
- Distance racing add-on - $50/adult
(This is for
anyone wishing to participate in long distance racing and helps with the
expense of shipping canoes.)
Dues are payable with check or by credit card via the
PayPal buttons below. To join or renew your membership, please use one of the

Waiver(required for paddling until 1 April, 2012)

You may also turn them in at regularly scheduled visitor or recreational
paddles.
