Wish of Aloha

This Thursday November 12th will be the last time Dottie will be on the beach before having surgery early next week.. If you can stop by before 8am on Thursday and wish her some big ALOHA. Dottie, we wish you a speedy and healthy recovery. Bud will keep us up to date as to her recovery.

Maui High School Needs Paddles

Anela, Wilson, and Cliff are the coaches for Maui High School. Kihei Canoe Club is hosting both Baldwin High School and Maui High School. Between the 2 schools we do not have enough paddles to go around, there are about 100 kids between both schools. If you have any extra paddles you could donate there will be some very happy children. If you would like to to make a monetary donation for the purchase of paddles for the High school kids please call Anela at 808-283-0628 or e-mail anela@kiheiCanoeClub.com
(please note, these paddles are separate from the ones our youth use during regatta season.)

Community Clean-up Day

Community Work Day is doing a clean-up on Uwapo Road THIS SATURDAY November 14, from 8-11 a.m.. Casey has agreed to having a clean-up at the hale at the same time. The advantage is that the county will pick up our stuff on Monday so we don't have to go to the dump. If you can afford an hour or so please come by and give a hand.

Powerhouse Gym Offer

Powerhouse is offering corporate rate to KCC members! If you are in good stnading with Kihei Canoe Club call Tom Guerin at 283-9628 or e-mail guerintkes@yahoo.com and he will put your name on a list at Powerhouse.

$35 for initiation and $39 a month. They just show up, give their name, pay and get started. This is about $110 off the normal signup fee. That's it. Month to month. They also have good spin, yoga and abs classes.

Please go to the HCRA website: http://hcrapaddler.com/ and login. There is information on how to login on the top left column. It is recommended that you change your password after logging in. After logging in you can see all the members of Kihei Canoe Club and you can edit your own info. Please take the time to check the accuracy of your information and make any additions or corrections. We will use this info for mailing you club information and materials.
